Mon: All draft materials will be returned from the essay. The essay rubric will be handed out. We will begin reviewing for the final by looking over the objective portion of the Industrial Revolution. Students will have the remainder of the class to complete working on their presentations.
Wed: Presentations of Student Products begin. After all presentations, there will be a review of the concepts of the Industrial Revolution.
Fri: Presentations of Student Products finish. After all presentations, there will be a review of the objective portion of the French Revolution.

Preview of Week Ending 05/29/09
We are entering the home stretch! All students should be splitting their time between reviewing for the final and completing the final project.

Tuesday: The class will review the N2K sheet for the Industrial Revolution. Students' research packets will be returned with comments. Students will begin drafting the body of their essays in class. All introductions and essay maps should be submitted by the end of class. For homework, students should work on their conclusion sheets.
Thursday: The class will begin to review the N2K sheet for the French Revolution. Students should submit their body drafts and conclusions today. In class, students will begin consideration of their projects and presentation criteria.

Preview of Week Ending 05/22

We will be working on the Final Project for the Industrial Revolution all of this week. We have also begin content review for the final exam.
Green Day
Monday - Students will complete in-class research for the final project. Students will have access to laptops and classroom texts.
Wednesday - The class will be going to the library to continue with their research. The Research Sources Document will be due at the end of class today.
Friday - Students will begin the in-class essay workshop. The essay map document and the introduction document should be completed for homework, if not completed in class.

Wed: Students will receive the common expectations for the final project. Students should select a topic for the final project, and begin consideration of their research sources.

Preview of Week Ending 05/08

Green Day
Mon: Students will participate in a guided reading regarding the spread of the Industrial Revolution. This will be due at the end of class. Overdue work will be announced, as many students have fallen behind over vacation.
Wed: Students will research conditions for the common people in the Industrial Revolution and reactions to these conditions in homogeneous ability level groups. Appropriate sources will be provided. Students will prepare a presentation for their colleagues. For homework, students will be asked to complete a worksheet on automation and interchangeable parts.
Friday: Students will present their topics to the rest of the class. With remaining time, students will be expected to complete outstanding work and to complete their Need 2 Know sheets. Over the weekend, students should prepare for the Industrial Revolution Exam.
