A warm hello to all new students on Team Katahdin and to their parents and guardians. I hope that this blog will be of use to you. Please browse through the site. I am making some changes and this will be an ongoing process, especially once the iPads have arrived.
First week's preview
Day 1 - We will go over class expectations. As a research challenge, students will be asked to find out WHO invented History (as a subject) and WHAT it means (it should be a single word).
Day 2 - We will discuss the origin and meaning of "History" and begin a group research activity.
Day 3 - We will complete our group research activities and report out.
