Open House Week!
This week we will complete studying the polytheisms, with a guided reading on Hindusim and Taoism in class. On Thursday and Friday, we will begin the summative assessment. This will be open note and will take two class sessions. Next week, we begin the Byzantine Empire!

Guide for Week Beginning Sept 19
Monday and Tuesday: I will meet with CP2 and with CP1 during block 3. Students will have an opportunity to complete any outstanding summative assessments. Once completed, students will be asked to code a document for use later this week on a formative assessment. This document is a Hinduism guide. During blocks 4 and 5, we will have NWEA testing. After the testing, students are encouraged to meet with me regarding their summative assessments.
Wednesday:
HON: Students will have an opportunity to complete any outstanding summative assessments. Once completed, students will be asked to code a document for use later this week on a formative assessment. This document is a Hinduism guide.
CP1 & 2: There will be direct instruction on Hinduism followed by a formative assessment. If not completed in class, this will be for homework.

CP1 - there will be a learning extension activity.We will discuss the quiz. We may begin work on the Judaism lesson.
CP2&3 - students will complete the first group research activity.
Wednesday
Honors - students will complete the first group research activity.
CP1&2 - Students will participate in a group reading and analysis of a document on Judaism. We will discuss, as a class, the process of coding a document during the research process.
