World History 9 (G)
On Monday, this is the last day that I can accept the Belisarius packet for credit. We will be going to the library to begin our first quarter biography project. Monday is MIB day for team Cadillac, so it you haven't been recommended, but want to see me for help (and credit on late work), then please do so!
On Wednesday, we will generate outlines of the history content for the Islamic Caliphate. We will be using the textbook. Each student will be expected to submit his or her own outline. There will be a cloze activity for homework.
On Friday. we complete our outlines on the Islamic caliphte and will have time to work on the biography project. Students will have a study guide to review over the weekend.

World History 9 HON (W)
On Tuesday, we will have a class discussion of the primary source reading. Then, we will generate outlines and essential questions for the Islamic Caliphate. We will use our textbook and discuss our findings in class.
On Thursday. we will analyze a second (and different) textbook. Students will use the contrast to critique the positive and negative aspects of our textbook. Any remaining time in class will be used for the biography project or to prepare a study guide. Students will be expected to prepare the study guide over the weekend.
