Preview of Week Ending (02/13)

This week, we will be participating in a dynamic unit regarding the Scientific Revolution. I hope that everyone is as excited as I am! Also, Friday is winter carnival, so bring your school spirit. Mustang Pride, peeps!

White Day

Monday: we will have time in class to complete our webquests and the concurrent questions. This is a project grade, so it is important. The questions must be submitted before Friday.
Wednesday: direct instruction on the Scientific Revolution. Cloze activity on Galileo & Newton for homework

Green Day

Tuesday: direct instruction on the Scientific Revolution. Cloze activity on Galileo & Newton for homework
Wednesday: class discussion of the Scientific Method. Group activity applying the Scientific Method to the Humanities. For homework, current event summary worksheet (telescope).

Hon

Monday: we will have time in class to complete our webquests and the concurrent essay. This is a project grade, so it is important. The essay must be submitted before Friday.
Wednesday: direct instruction on the Scientific Revolution. For homework, students have a worksheet and a DBQ (Document Based Question) from Galileo concerning the perceived conflict between Science and Religion.
