Welcome back, all. I hope that vacation was restful and pleasant. For my part, I am still convalescing from my injury at the Winter Carnival last Friday. So, if I am a little less mobile than usual, I apologize.
White Day
Monday - We will employ the Scientific Method in groups to investigate a historical problem in our current period. A current events learning extension will be available.
Wednesday - Direct instruction concerning the Path to the Enlightenment. For homework, students will complete their Need 2 Know Sheets for a homework grade.
Friday - Direct instruction concerning the Philosophes. If time permits, we will discuss stereotyping in history. For homework, students will have a profile of Mary Wollstonecraft.
Green Day
Tuesday - Direct instruction concerning the Path to the Enlightenment. For homework, students will complete their Need 2 Know Sheets for a homework grade.

Monday - We will begin with a DBQ on the Galileo Primary source reading that was due for homework. Then, we will employ the Scientific Method in groups to investigate a historical problem in our current period.
Wednesday - Direct instruction concerning the Path to the Enlightenment. For homework, students will complete a primary source reading from the Encyclopedia of Diderot.
Friday - Direct instruction concerning the Philosophes. If time permits, we will discuss stereotyping in history. For homework, students will have a profile of Mary Wollstonecraft. Students will also be expected to work on their Need 2 Know sheets.
