This week, we will focus on the Essay workshop. The essay produced by this will count for 60% of the student exam on the Enlightenment. The objective portion of this exam will come at the end of this week, and will be focused on identifying the contributions of the Philosophes.
Green Day Classes
Monday: We will be continuing our Essay workshop and will develop our body paragraphs. I will recover with 1G the material they began while my sub was there. For homework, students should complete the body paragraph worksheet and the reasoning worksheet.
Thursday: We will begin with the objective portion of the Enlightenment test. Then, we will complete the Essay workshop with the composition of our conclusions. For homework, students should finalize their essays for submission over the weekend.
White Day & Honors
Tuesday: We will be continuing our Essay workshop and will develop our body paragraphs. I will recover with 1G the material they began while my sub was there. For homework, students should complete the body paragraph worksheet and the reasoning worksheet. Honors students will have their last primary source for this unit.
Thursday: We will begin with the objective portion of the Enlightenment test; Honors student's assessment will come in the form of a DBQ (Document Based Question). Then, we will complete the Essay workshop with the composition of our conclusions. For homework, students should finalize their essays for submission over the weekend.
