Each class will see me three times this week
Meeting 1
Students will submit: essays, Venn diagram, Need 2 Know Sheet, and Religion Comparison Matrix.
Students will be given an opportunity to review progress so far - and to make any last minute submissions
Students will self-evaluate success using rubrics/capacity matrices for Unit 1 (Diverse Belief Systems)
Meeting 2
Students will unpack the MLRs for Unit 2 (Geography Influences History) and will review the rubrics for the unit.
For homework, students will consider the Byzantine History Packets
Meeting 3
Students will begin individual research on the importance of the city of Constantinople to history, using guided research sheets. Resources will be available in the classroom and online at the blog.
N.B. On Wednesday, Oct 13, Team Katahdin will be making a visit to YCCC.
