This is the week of Parent-Teacher Conferences (Tuesday). I will also be the advising faculty for MHS' participation as a remote site for the Gubernatorial Debate on Wednesday. This will be open to the public and runs from 7 to 9pm.
This week, students will be working on their common core research project. In the World History classroom, we will be focusing on research skills
The first class of the week will investigate types of sources and the team's expectations for depth of research.
The second class will look at biographical and demographic research, with a focus on identifying useful and appropriate data for the project.
The third class will discuss researching and presenting an idea through exposition.
The fourth class will focus on identify and presenting the lasting legacy of a person or concept.
